Emily Dickinson was born on dec 10th in Amherst Massachusetts. Emily was a wellknown for her original poems and was voted one of the top poets in the 19th century. Emily was a very unique young lady and that was a main reason why people loved reading her poems because they were very different. In 1964 Emily was having trouble seeing and after meeting with her eye doctor a couple of times Emily was forbidden to read or write. That was a tragic period in emilys life because she had to give up something she loved. I really enjoyed the poem "I'm nobody! Who are you?" I thought it was a short , sweet and to the point type poem. "How dreary to be somebody! How publin, like a frog" I like how she always relates things to something unique and it makes you open up your mind and think what message she is trying to get through.
